If you're wondering about what this actually is, it's not a painting.

I came across an almost similar one on the Internet and it was so beautiful that I eventually ended imitating that,in my own way.

This is commonly called a 'Rangoli',which is counted as one of the most common norms to be done at several festivals occuring in India.
It is not made with paints of any kind. What it consists is different shades of rangoli colours, which are nothing ,but coloured sand like particles having a course texture.

It is indeed a bit difficult to work with these colours and since this was the first time i made a rangoli, it was even more challenging.

People even use the help of certain tools for doing the rangolis and 'Diyas' add up to hide the flaws and enhance the vigour of these rangolis.

If you ever visit India during the festivities, I'm sure you'll definitely come across such colour and warmth in one or other corners of the country!
