i-House Token (IHT): Global Real Estate on the Blockchain

i-House Token is a project dedicated to the development of a global real estate blockchain cloud platform for asset management through the digital realm.

The company’s stated mission is to “help every person to own and share their assets easily and gain from the share economy boost.” Essentially what they are trying to do is create an online platform for the exchange and funding of global real estate opportunities. The team behind it firmly believe that everyone is able to act as their own “AirBNB” landlord through disruption of the traditional ways of buying and selling property.

The platform is able to bring real estate developers, financial institutions and end users together for transaction of real estate through a “digital credit society.”

Users of the blockchain can launch what is known as an ATO (Asset Tokenized Offering), which is a splitting up of assets that are then recorded on the kernel ledger of IHT. Actual value exchange is through the underlying fiat currency of the local country, whereas IHT is only used to facilitate the mechanisms behind ATO’s.

Property developers can issue ATO’s after they specify the circumstances behind why the property is being tokenized (based on such specifications as address areas, property rights and real estate.) Property developers can determine the size and value of the shares they are issuing through ATO’s before using IHT to induce transactions.

Financial institutions can underwrite ATO assets after registering with the IHT underwriting platform. Assets to be exchanged can be found through screen and checking the classifications of assets. The amount of IHT needs per each underwritten asset is determined by the terms and complexity of the ATO.

Investors can subscribe to shares of ATO through sales portals that financial institutions set up after being accepted to the underwriting program. Based on personal interest and the investment profile of user’s, different sub-products can be recommended to them by the institution.
