The graph above show us the comparison of the population in India and China from 2000 to 2050 in the future.
In 2000, the population who lived in China is much more rather than India. The number of Chinese population was 1.25 billion, while Indian citizens were still in 1.0 billion people. In one decade, China has grown its population 1.3 billion, however, India is significantly rapid reach 1.2 billion.

According to the graph, in 20 years the population in India sharply increase the number of populations quicker than China, so the data shows that by 2030, both those countries will have the same population of around 1.45 billion population. Next 10 years, China's population is slightly going down back to 1.4 billion in 2050, while India's citizens will significantly increase to reach 1.6 billion the population.

In conclusion, India only needs over a 50-year period in order to take over China's population, but China is slowly falling down the population. Thus, China and India will have the same population in 2030.
