Kota Samarinda? 30% pasti menjawab “dimana tuh?”
Ok sampai sini dulu besok kita lanjut lagi...

Ever heard of Balikpapan City? Surely lah .. Ever heard of Bali Island? Moreover .. Ever heard of Malang? Definitely also ..
Samarinda City? 30% would answer "where?"
Often ane make a trit definitely ane end with hastag # Regards from Samarinda, feeling crowded when there is someone asking what is Samarinda? Where is it? What is going on over there? How could it be the Capital? What city's advantages? What is the tour? What's the majority tribe? Are there rich people?
Yes indeed most of you do not ever ask that. Perhaps this ditrit of ignorance will be answered.
History - Samarinda known as the city as it once was one of the Kutai Kartanegara ing Martadipura Sultanate. In the region there has not been a village standing, let alone the city. Until the mid-17th century, the area of Samarinda is a field of rice fields and some farmers. The fields of rice fields and cultivation are generally concentrated along the banks of the Karang Mumus and Karang Asam rivers.
In 1668, a group of Wajo Bugis people led by La Mohang Daeng Mangkona (title Pua Ado) migrated from the land of Gowa Sultanate to Kutai Sultanate. They hijra out of the island to the Sultanate of Kutai because they do not want to submit and obey the Bongaya Agreement after Gowa Sultanate lost due to attack by Dutch troops. The arrival of Bugis Wajo people from the Kingdom of Gowa was well received by Sultan Kutai.
On the agreement and agreement, Raja Kutai entourage was given the location around the village floor, a lowland area that is good for agriculture, fishery and trade. In accordance with the agreement that the Wajo Bugis people must help all the interests of King Kutai, especially in the face of the enemy.
All of the groups chose the area around the Karang Mumus estuary (the opposite Selili area) but this area caused difficulties in the voyage due to the swirling area with many river droppings. In addition to the background of the mountains (Mount Selili).
Around 1668, the Sultan of the Kingdom of Kutai ordered Pua Ado with his followers from Sulawesi to open a settlement in Tanah Low. The opening of the village is referred to as Sultan Kutai, as a defensive area of pirate attacks from the Philippines who often do robbery in various coastal areas of Kutai Kartanegara. In addition, this wise sultan was intended to provide a place for Bugis people who seek asylum in Kutai as a result of war in their hometown. The settlement by Sultan Kutai was named Sama Rendah. This name is certainly not the origin of the call. Equally Low is intended that all residents, both native and immigrant, are equal. There is no difference between Bugis, Kutai, Banjar and other tribes.
