WONO platform launched. How do I get tokens?
We’re excited to introduce the WONO platform: app.wono.io! It’s rather a concept, however it works on the Kovan testnet now, and that means that no real money can be used there. Nevertheless - it’s ready to be explored. In this article we’ll explain how to get test tokens and try WONO.
Actually, you’ll need two types of tokens:
- Test WONO tokens for making test deals.
- Test Ethereum from Kovan network to pay for the gas. The gas, let us remind you, is a tiny sum of ETH paid for doing something on blockchain: publishing assets, signing deals, etc.
Getting started
- First you’ll need to register at app.wono.io and create a wallet there, it’s pretty easy.
- After you’ve registered a WONO account and a wallet, copy its address (yes, this long combination of letters and numbers).
How to get test WONO tokens?
Just write a letter to our community manager, his email is [email protected]. Write “Test WONO tokens request” in subject. Specify your name and the wallet number you’ve created at app.wono.io in the letter.
We send test tokens twice a week: on Mondays and Thursdays, so please don’t expect them to arrive immediately after you contact us.
How to get a test ETH for gas payments?
- Go to https://gitter.im/kovan-testnet/faucet, register there (also very easy and fast).
- Go to the chat on Gitter and ask to send some test Kovan ETH to your wallet address which you’d copied previously.
Stuck with that? Don’t want to use Gitter? No problem, write a letter to [email protected], paste your address and we’ll take care.
PS: please note once again: both test ETH and test WONO tokens cannot be used for real deals. It’s for testing purposes only.
