Quadrant Protocol-A blueprint for mapping decentralized data
There are several problems existing in the data economy world. Firstly, there as the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Gap where AI innovations are becoming exceedingly difficult to create due to the lack of sufficient data for small companies to test their algorithms. Secondly, there is the issue of data authenticity which adds to the dilemma of not being able to access sufficient data due to not being able to verify its sources. Finally, the third issue is the unsustainability of the data ecosystem since the persons who produce the raw data are not incentivized enough to provide large volumes of data. The Quadrant Protocol seeks to address all these issues by transforming the data economy into a more organized and authentic resource, creating a blueprint where disparate data sources can be mapped.
The Quadrant Protocol is described more as a galactic stratosphere attempting to stabilize the unmapped and chaotic data economy. It starts with the Nurseries also known as Atomic Data Producers (ADPs). These are the producers of the Stars which are the raw, original data. Data stamping would be used to verify the authenticity of these Nurseries so that the buyers of data would be able to have proof of who the creator of the data is, for transparency. The Pioneers take the raw data or the collection of stars and turn them into Constellations by mapping the disparate data into Data Smart Contracts. In other words, the Pioneers are the Data Vendors who would know how to map the data into groups. Then the other stakeholders are the Elons. The Elons are the visionaries who would take the constellations, link them together and create new, innovative and unique products and services to solve real-world problems.
The creators of the Quadrant Protocol are the Guardians of the galaxy. They are the master nodes that would implement data sampling, authentication and verification of data to protect the integrity of the Quadrant Protocol. The Guardians ensure that the Constellations that are created by the Pioneers are never compromised and that the ADPs and Pioneers are fully compensated for their data, in every step, from the start to the end of creating new products and services. This guarantees that the most brilliant minds are empowered into creating enriched data Data Consumers who are the AI and Machine Learning Companies whose companies are data driven.
The Quadrant Protocol is therefore, the new transparent data ecosystem, geared at ensuring companies can obtain all the authentic data they need.
