Bilete frå hamna i Reykjavik

Island er ein viktig fiskerinasjon og har naturleg nok fleire kystvaktfartøy for å vakta havområset sitt. Stundom kan ein sjå nokre nokre av desse kystvaktfartøya i hamna på Reykjavik. Eit par bilete her viser nokre av kystfartøya med Island sitt flagg på.
Hallgrimskyrkja kan ein sjå frå fleire stader av hamneområdet. At kyrkja visest så godt i landskapet skuldast både eit høgt tårn på 75 meter og at kyrkja ligg eit høgdedrag i byen. Mitt inntrykk er at Reykjavik er både ein vakker og moderne by med mange fine bygningar.

Iceland is one important fishing nation and naturally has more coastguard vessels to guard its sea area. Sometimes you can see some of these coastguard ships in Reykjavik. A couple of pictures here show some of the coastguard vessels with Iceland's flags on.
Hallgrimskyrkja can be seen from several places in the harbour area. That church is so easy to watch is because of a high tower of 75 meters and that church is on a hillside in the city. My impression is that Reykjavik is both a beautiful and modern city with many beautiful buildings.
