Oh well. I hope it's bearable again now.
When we still lived in an attic flat in Berlin, summer in the uninsulated attic always felt as if two hobbits would appear at any moment and throw a ring in... ;-))
In the 120-year-old brick house, on the other hand, the heat can't do us any harm: a natural cool oasis in the drought. Very, very pleasant. We are grateful.
I understand: I used to live in a mobile home, which was like having the sun shine on a tin can all day. It's still pretty warm, but closer to normal for this time of year, and less humid.
