Doing stupid things for a vote...
For those who don't know me on Steemit, there was a time where I tried to write funny stories. For different reasons, I found it difficult to continue with my blog, and little by little I stopped writing. Now, that I have more time, I decided to take up my writings and when I came back, I found this...
Far away were the times, where to get a vote you had to interact, create communities and pray, that a whale take pity on your situation. At that time, the vote of a whale was like an orgasm. I updated the blog every 15 seconds, imploring that click of someone with a lot of SP.
For those who don't know, by March of 2017, the Steem had a value of $0.23. Those that we published at that time, we were the real passionate of this platform, because we were in the worst moments of Steemit. Only a few benefited, and most of us published for pure pleasure. Although, there was always the illusion that a whale came across our post, and when that happened, it was night of celebrations...

For this and seeing the current moment in which we are, I felt with certain rights and decided not to fall into the influence of these bots to get votes. I had something to invent, to avoid having to pay and at the same time, to have visibility. Sure of my decision, I started a campaign to attract the votes of these bots, without having to pay anything.
The first bot that I wrote was to @appreciator:

With my illusion intact, I decided to continue with my plan. And I wrote to @postpromoter:

They were not going to beat me, I was just starting and I had to insist to achieve my goal. I wrote to @upme:
It didn't work either, and little by little I was feeling defeated. I wasn't having the results I expected, but well...
I had my last attempt with @buildawhale:
As you can imagine, it didn't work. So, for the failure of my experiment, I have made a second decision: I'm not happy, with having in my post, only comments from my mother, such as:
Beautiful post, my dear son. I'm proud of you, you are the sun that floods my life...
Fuck it! I will pay for bots and thus claim the success and glory that I deserve. See you on the moon, guys!

I am having the hardest time finding people who actually write funny stuff, because thats what I do. But now its just a bunch of people putting up memes and giphs. I want to hear embarrassing stories and hilarious moments that people ran into!

Now serious: I have stopped using these bots; I may use them occasionally, however. I found that the ebst time to use a bot is when the price of Steem is rising. That is when you would profit most from the bot; Also, only a handful of bots are good, especially, the one you mentioned.

All too funny, yeah always seems like a hit or miss, and sometimes having a guaranteed vote that has some pull behind it can be helpful!
Hello friend, I started in June of 2017 and I can say that it is as you say, in fact only twice I got whale votes. Anyway, everything in life changes and I think we have to adapt as Darwin Hahaha said. Upvoted, very good post.

Bots kind of defeat the purpose of Steemit... It was supposed to be a way to get paid for quality content. If this goes on, the price will drop.
bots have turned black hat gaming the system into a mainstream accepted practice....
But the reality is it essentially turning SteamIt into a spin zone of garbage for people mostly promoting cryptocurrency.
