Kids are over-rated

in #humor7 years ago

I dont know if it's just me or does anyone else think that kids are over-rated? I mean, take the example of language learning. All of us have heard stories about kids being able to learn several languages in parallel very easily. But give me your average man or woman, and I mean, AVERAGE, not me or you guys here who are smart enough to understand crypto to some extent, but someone who believes everything he or ahe heara on the news, who drinks diet coke for health reasons and believes in some fairy God out there. Take this guy (let say he is a guy so that i don't have to read he or she all the time) and assign a care taker (or two) for him who sees to all of his needs: feed him, dress him, clean him. And on top of that, he can suck on gis caretaker's titties whenever he wants to. Whenever he wants anything, all he has to do is cry. Now give this guy the task of learning not one new language but five , within few years. I will bet with 99% confidence that doing that will be a piece of cake for him.

As adults, we are burdened with this little thing called "make a living!" , and everything we want to learn have to be done in the spare time that is left from this. Even during this spare time, we have constant worry and thinking about the future, about finding a mate (if single) or keeping our relationships going, or taking care of our stupid kids while they are learning to walk and talk. And how dare we are compared with these little ruts who cant even wipe their own ass?

Don't even get me started with advices like "we knew how to run naturally when we were kids, we just have to unlearn all the bad habits we learned as adults". This is actually written in a book about improving running form/style. Are you fucking kidding me? Has the author ever seen kids/toddlers running? Thighs rubbing, feet inwards, stumbling once every 100m,...they are like an automous robot programmed by a coder on crack!

Also, let's be honest, why is iy a big deal about being a child? Its the easiest thing ever, we all have been children and we grew out of it! All these fuzz when there is an accident or terrorist attack about the number of children that were affected, as if the adults can be replaced easily. It takes juat 2 years and nine months to replace a 2 year old baby who just got killed, while for the 45 year old good old citzen, we not only have to wait 45 years and nine months, but so many things could go wrong in those years, the probability of replacing him is nearly zero. If I ever happen to be a negotiator in a hostage situation, I will be asking the 100+ year olds to be released first, followed by the 90+ and so on, and at last, if everything goes ok and I am not tired, i will say to the terrorists, "I am going home now. It was a pleasure doing business with you and thanks for not harming the adults! It would be great if you could, maybe, leave the children behind on your way out to the helicopter that I negotiated for you. Ahhhhh, i am kidding, do whatever you want with the kids!"
