RE: Should I take a break from Steemit?

in #hr207 years ago

I have not given up yet either but I see no incentive to post currently, it’s like being a newbie all over again! I struggled a long time to finally find my audience recently only to have them all disappear or become inactive. Furthermore I am insulted at the lack of concern for the complications this is placing on everyday users and the projects built on chain without any concern. Instead I keep seeing “hope for the best” posts everywhere, such a slap in the face!

No I wouldn’t waste the time creating videos under current interaction levels either even though it’s part of my therapeutic outlet. The real concern I have is how many projects will survive this downturn? Even steemitboards which is backed by 3 witnesses has announced they need approx 33k delegation to continue functioning at a much lesser scale.

Will #OneLoveDTube survive? It doesn’t look good right now to even be able to continue the same level of support we had been previously! Many different aspects to consider and most discussions end with constant self reinforcement from the believers that everything will be fine should we just wait long enough. What about the people that are living off of Steem? I cannot afford a week off work so imagine how upsetting this must be for them!

I am at a loss for words with this situation, we now have a whale only platform and those whales don’t give two @d00k13’s as long as their witnesses keep making money! Oh did I forget to mention, this hasn’t really affected the witnesses incomes? They still get Steem for generating blocks so of course they wouldn’t care how it affects the rest of us!

@d00k13 Out
