Step 2 - On How - To Create The Ultimate Homemade Pizza

in #howto8 years ago

On Step 2 I Will Talk About Proofing the Dough and Baking Our Pizza!

list of Ingredients you'll need for step 2

  • 1 bag of Boar's Head brand pepperoni( or your favorite brand )
  • 1 bag of fresh buffalo mozzarella
  • 1 better boy tomato (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup of our homemade pizza sauce
  • 8 basil leaves coarsely chopped for garnish

Once our dough is kneaded and ready , we can cut them and divided into 3 little balls and we want to put each single one in a oval bottom deep bowl container

like this!

Then cover them up completely with a cotton rag , and let them proof for about 4 hours, you will know they have proofed when the dough has completely risen.

Once the dough has proofed, set your oven to bake and turn it up on to 500 degrees, have your pizza dish ready and sprinkle flour on it, start to expand the dough with your hands and give it a round shape and put in the dish you are going bake it in, try tossing in the air to expand it if you feel comfortable.

Add the pizza sauce, thinly sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and pepperoni.....

And your pizza is finally ready to be put in the oven

Bake for 15-20 minutes

20 minutes later... Take it out of the oven and let it rest on a wooden cutting board for about 5 minutes, coarsely chopped basil and garnish.

Your pizza is now ready to serve mmmmm!!!! , have it with some wine, invite your friends over, family, etc, this pizza is delicious .

Hope you guys enjoy my recipe and post!!!
