RE: Taking Advantage of Comment Sections

in #howto8 years ago

I enjoy the comment section a lot and I seem to actually be spending more of my steemit time engaged in conversations and discussion than posting on my blog. Usually, the most rewarding discussions and conversations that initially started from a point of disagreement. I'm really interested in learning why people that I disagree with think the things they think, so I often ask about that under their posts or even share why I disagree with their post. Most of the time this leads to a positive experience here.

I easily spend most of my time on them as well. I have been trying to change that up a little bit since people keep encouraging me to blog a little more with how well I write some comments.

Having a productive disagreement that leads everyone involved into a better understand or causes people to at least rethink their position is always great. I try and do that once in a while. I can usually tell from the reply back I get if I want to peruse the dialoged any further or not.

Some people just want live in there “yes” only environment they have created. Which case I just move on.

Oh, yes, I do the same :) Not everybody wants to discuss all of their positions. In those cases I try to leave my two cents and move on.
