Editing photos taken by @betelzeus to see if Gimp can make them pop more

@betelzeus did a post of some to the macro photos he took of a bee and I asked him if I could edit them a little in Gimp to see if I could make them stand out a little more. Above is the edited version of the photo using gimp. I did an Auto white balance and manual adjustment of the contrast and brightness to bring out more detail and brighten up the subject.

I hope this posts shows how easy it is to make your photos stand out a little more using simple features in gimp. If you have questions or comments please feel free to post below.
