Crave the challenge.
Research the prior night to fully familiarize yourself with every discussion point.
If any one topic gives you discomfort to defend spend the time to fully understanding the topic, and any related references that may come up after you've brainstormed the direction the audience may take the QA.
If you stay engaged you'll succeed.
