Springs of Hope: The story of Phil's struggles in life

Hello steemians, I'm back with this short but inspirational story of a young man named Phil whom God has designed a better life for but he never had a grasp of it until he was out of the "cloud of darkness"..This story describes a predefined destiny not tapped, although "hope not lost yet", a dilemma of which path to follow..The "Godly" or the "dark"path..So here is the story of Phil.

For more than ten years, Phil, a young, vibrant and handsome looking man battled with "alcoholism" and "drug addiction". It wasn't something he was proud of because he wasn't brought up that way. In fact, he was raised in a strong Christian home. wow..interesting isn't it?

When he got into college, his roommate talked him into joining a notorious gang, and that marked the beginning of a strange life for Phil. He was exposed to different vices that resulted in his several arrests. He got into drinking and drugs to numb the feelings of guilt and shame that were almost ripping his heart open.

Flipping through the channels of his cable network one fateful night, he stumbled across a Christian broadcast. He was about to flip it through, but something somewhat stronger than his imagination sprang up in his spirit and held him back. Every word from the preacher dropped like "coals of fire" in his heart. Then he heard a voice saying; "Why allow the devil mess up your life, when God has offered you something better in his son"...

For Phil, that was "the last stroke that broke the Carmel's back", an "internal revolution to his inner mind and soul". He finally found "hope"and "grace". He felt this happiness, joy and peace inside him. He was free at last. That night, he made a decision that redefined his destiny..

SO THE QUESTION HERE IS, HAVE YOU LOST HOPE IN LIFE BECAUSE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING YOUR PAST???...

HERE IS MY LITTLE PIECE OF WORD FOR YOU...

The past has not exhausted the possibilities of greater things in the future. Where we come from, failure is no factor. You may have missed the mark severally, but God is able to still hold you up in victory. It's not over yet...

Begin to see every mistake as a stepping stone to a greater height. God is able to gloriously put your life together. He will perfect all that concerns you. Be rest assured, he's got your back. So square up your shoulders, take those bold steps of faith again; knowing that the One who promised, is able to accomplish all of His promises concerning your life.. God cannot fail, he can never disappoint for "He is not a man that he would lie"..He is giving hope to that lost destiny. All you just need do, is to call on Him in times of your struggles and tribulations and he will answer you..

As you read the words of encouragement and motivation from me, I urge you to also pass it on to that person that just needs a word of encouragement to revive his/her lost hope in life. I want you to encourage that neighbour, that boy or girl on the street, that one person that is already giving up on hope.. That there is still hope...
