For my favourite homemade meal I made hearty hamburger soup, with sourdough, avocado, tomatoe toast, and homemade strawberry cheesecake to finish it all off!

For the toast I use my sourdough bread made of locally grown organic spelt grain that I mill myself, here is a recipe closest to what I do:

And here is an article I made discussing the benefits of long, slow fermentation of grains for optimal nutrient absorption :)

I mashed the avocado, added some lemon juice and herbamare (sea salt) to taste spread on toasted sourdough and garnish with tomatoe slices

For the soup I slow cooked our grassfed organic beef bones overnight and during the day for a beautifully gelatinous soup base. Brown 1 lb of hamburger in a cast iron skillet, add to strained broth. Fry 3 carrots sliced, 1 onion, using 2 Tbls of my homemade butter. Add softened veggies to soup and bring to boil. I then add my canned tomatoes, turmeric, cumin, garlic. When the soup is cooled and ready to serve I add a dash of homemade creme fraiche, sea salt, and a few drops of oil of oregano because it's spring!

My cheesecake 🤗
For the base:
1 c almonds (soaked and dehydrated to breakdown phytic acid)
1 cup dates
Chop in food processor until small chunks and spread in buttered cake pan

Filling:
2 c homemade cream cheese
1/4 c honey
1 c raw cream
2 egg yolks
1Tbls arrowroot powder
1tsp real vanilla
Starwberries (optional)
In a sauce pan mix cream, egg yolks, honey, and arrowroot, warm slowly and whisk. In a blender add creamy mixture to cheese and blend until smooth. Makes a poorable batter, chill for a few hours before serving.

And let's not forget the best part, my homemade strawberry jun :
