Smallholding
On Friday, my partner and I took over the lease of a 12 acre small holding. It is very exciting! We have 7 cows, 12 ewes and 1 ram. The picture is after feeding out a bale of hay to the cows. It is very satisfying taking a bale of hay (on the tractor) to some hungry (they were mooing a lot) cows and providing them with food.

Finding a smallholding to lease is like gold. Give the cows an ear rub from me :)
Yeah it is awesome, and we got a very good deal too! Haha they aren't quite that friendly, yet, a couple will eat out of the hand however. Best not get too attached though ;)
awww but you could run naming competitions, lol
