Good day Steemit Community, After todays work, I visited Prof. Adegeyes farm and secondary school situated in the Eastern part of Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Nigeria where he took me round his farm and I visited the following Sections or Units:

Fish Pond

He showed me the fish pond which can house 10,000 fish, he also have a big oven for drying the fish and with an incubator which can produce like 1 million fingerlings in a year.

Piggery

He showed me round the Pig pen which can house like 200 pigs and he told me it's advisable to buy pregnant pigs for someone who wants to rear and make a living from it, I was showed Weaned Pigs who can be sold to interested people.

Goat

I was showed round the goat pen which has about 100 goats and also local chicken were reared too.

I was informed that the Goats could be sold when need arises.

Malay Apple and Jack Fruit

The Prof. enlightened me on Malay Apple and Jack Fruit and how he got the seedlings from a Catholic Mission House and he planted it and has many of the trees now.

Dwarf Coconut with Nursery

I was further informed about the dwarf coconut and he has nursery where he raise the seedlings for people to buy.

Brain tea plant (Centella Lujica)

There were many nursery where the Brain tea plant were planted, in this dry season, the plants were supplied with water to sustain them.

The plant is further processed into Capsules and being sold through out the country.

Some of the health benefits includes, potent brain- tonic and it also shows properties in treating senile decay and loss of memory, reduces high blood pressure, slows down the ageing process, helps in treating ulcers, helps the body protects itself against toxins and others.

Cocoa

Prof. Adegeye also planted cocoa which is almost at the harvesting stage, I was shown the Cocoa Nursery where he planted the cocoa which can be transplanted to the farm soon.
