The Garage Saga - Junk Pile to Workshop
You might remember a few months ago when I returned home to find all my stuff that had been stored in the garage covered in rat shit and chewed up. The garage was unbearable. I mean from the smell and the amount of junk. Trailers full and a dozen trips to the local thrift shops and we’ve finally cleared it of 90% of the stuff we realized after a year away from it that we didn’t need. That post is here
It went from this…

(I didn’t take a picture of the inside, you couldn’t, there was too much stuff. But you can see all that crap in there spilling out into our yard…)
To this:

And this:

It’s a workshop!
I can walk through it! There are workbenches and accessible tools! YAY! And these pictures were a few weeks back so there’s been even more purged from here and organizing.

With the space cleared out and the tools finding their places we will soon be set up for starting all those projects I have planned out.
Can’t wait to share them with you!
A clean workshop makes projects so much more enjoyable.

Awesome! I had to clean out my whole studio when I moved last year, amazing how much junk we can accumulate over time lol Feels much lighter now and I'm making an effort not to let useless things that I MIGHT paint one day pile up lol
Oh man your telling me! The useless things I collect because i "Might" use them one day is the bane of my life. I toss and turn between hoarder and minimalist!
Sometimes people give me things like a jewelry box they keep for me to paint "if I ever feel like it". I've had to start saying thanks but no thanks I already have enough things to paint to last me years! lol
That sounds fun. ...
Aimee and I have a room in my parents basement full of crap we will have to go through when we move out of the tiny house.
Oh it was disgusting! Literally had to toss so much... pretty sad.
How big's your tiny house?
It's 200 sqft + 100sqft in the lofts.
