Kids getting good grades in school is good. Kids learning from their parents is GREAT.
The reward is in itself when you, as the parent, watch your daughter(s) prepare her first meal for the family alone. Or when you son changes the oil on the tractor by himself.
Yes good grades are good. Parents are some of the best teachers for the most part. Good things not bad. I agree. Watching my kids do now is awesome. My daughter sewed a Renaissance costume with hardly any pattern. She's excelled at violin no thanks to me lol. She loves music.
