Stone Henge.

Before my Europe trip I had only heard of Stone Henge but not fully understood how and why it was built. For anyone wanting to visit, all I can say is that it is 100% worth it.

My friends and I stepped off the bus and were greeted by a worker who handed us devices that guided us along the tour. As you begin your journey on the tour, you press #1 on your device and hold it up to your ear to listen to a voice introduce you to Stone Henge. As you make your way around the path and enter in each different number you learn a bit about the area you are in.

They even have an app that you can download to listen to the guided tour in your own time. I never knew how spiritual a place could be and how much history Europe has. Living in Australia, our modern history goes back a couple hundred years but our indigenous history is extremely old and interesting which unfortunately isn’t recognised as much as it should be.

Thanks for reading! I’ll be posting more soon about different places on my Europe trip as well as some Art tutorials.
