He gave us that same Spirit.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Isaiah 61:1

Inspiration:
Jesus read this passage in a synagogue in Nazareth to describe his ministry (Luke 4:17-21). He came to preach the good news, to heal, to bring deliverance, to proclaim grace, and to offer comfort. So don't reject the love of Jesus. Surrender before the Father. The Lord is pleased when we present ourselves with our broken hearts. He wants to give us salvation and make us have a full and abundant life.

Prayer:
Dear Lord God and Father, thank you that you gave us Jesus, your only son, to die in our place, taking all sin with him, and that's why today I have free access to you. I can be saved and I can live in eternity if only I believe in Jesus and confess him as Lord and Savior. I ask the Lord to forgive my sins, to bring me freedom, and to restore my heart as His word says. Amen.
