Moccasins (to calculate the distance between the slips)
For those who follow my posts how to sew moccasins, I already reported how to sew on top. But the fact is that the size of the top and bottom are different. After all, our foot to the top is narrowed. Accordingly, the top along the perimeter will be less than the bottom. Therefore, before punching holes, you need to make a calculation.
The calculation is done as follows. The perimeter of the top and bottom is measured along the line of the future seam. And then the usual calculation. We need to calculate the distances between the centers of the holes, taking care that the quantity at the top and bottom is the same.
For example, I got 46 holes. Distances between the centers of holes on the bottom of 8mm. The distance to the top is 6mm. Therefore, when we sew two parts, the bottom will be assembled into an accordion.
