Peter on the ROLLER COASTER (Life lesson).

Every time Pedro talked to his friends he would say the same thing "My life is like a roller coaster": Pedro believed that by saying that phrase they would perceive him as someone extreme and adventurous, but he never mentioned that he was very afraid of heights.

En una ocasión, en el parque de diversiones de Monrrovia sus amigos le convencieron a subir en la montaña rusa mas grande jamás vista, esta se llamaba "El GRAN desafío", esta montaña rusa haría temblar o dudar hasta el mas valiente!.

While they were in line to go on the roller coaster, Pedro was nervous and sweating much more than a false witness or frozen in summer, at one point he asked himself the following What am I doing?, but unfortunately it was too late to ask himself that question, his friends were already making a selfie video and Pedro's ego would not allow him to retract.

Immediately the moment that he did not want to come arrived, the game had stopped and was already prepared for the new victims to get on. It was Pedro's turn. He sat down, they held him in a harness (which he didn't trust) and the car started to climb the slope with that characteristic sound "Clanc, clanc, clanc...". That sound was like war music, but it announced his death. After a few minutes, when the car was already at the top, Pedro closed his eyes very tightly, clenched his hands (sweaty) and held his breath.

Just a few seconds until the car began to slide down the rails, very scared, in a fraction of time something impressive happened! Pedro screamed so loud that it seemed like the fear came out of his mouth, when in reality he had released all the stress he had accumulated on the journey. When he finished the ride, Pedro got off trembling but incredibly smiling and said "I want another ride." You might wonder, what changed? We know that the roller coaster is still the same, what changed is HIM.

This story shows us that life itself is like that roller coaster where we experience many fluctuations, ups and downs repeatedly, that simply moves us from comfort, from the known to the unknown, to the new. This is where we have to learn the lesson, We should not avoid those moments we must learn to face difficult moments. Just as Peter discovered that it was NOT fear that stopped him, it was just his excuses, it is important that you ask yourself, Are these excuses stopping me from achieving my goals? Fear can help propel you as well as if you allow it, it can stagnate you.

Now I recommend that you grab your seatbelt and tighten it to the maximum to prepare to leave your comfort zone. Fasten your seatbelt, raise your arms and shout because when you go through all this, you will laugh.
