Estamos casi al final de una semana más y hoy quiero dejar registrado parte de esta semana que ha tenido situaciones muy lindas y satisfactoria como también momentos muy intensos.

We're almost at the end of another week, and today I want to record part of this week, which has had some very beautiful and satisfying situations, as well as some very intense moments.

Thank God that the limits that test my patience and many other things about me have nothing to do with my health or that of my family, and they're not things that have no solution, but this week I have experienced some very exciting and very stressful situations.

The situation that marked me the most this week, and I believe it will be the only one worth remembering and writing about here, is a negotiation that, while not over, we're already entering much calmer waters, and everything is almost perfectly on track.

It all started two weeks ago when a friend and client noticed a real estate development in another city in Paraguay on my WhatsApp status. He sent me a message asking, "Are you working on this product?" I immediately replied yes and started a conversation. This led to us scheduling a virtual meeting with my colleague in Paraguay's capital the next day to learn more about the product.

We started the video conference, and between all the conversation and hundreds of questions, my client decided to bid on a unit. After talking a lot and exchanging information, he placed a $2,000 deposit, and we were reassured that we would start all the paperwork. My colleague was in Asunción, I was in Ciudad del Este, and my client was in another city.

At one point, everything was perfectly on track. The next day, my client started sending me outraged texts, angry and very upset because the unit he had reserved wasn't the one he had initially requested. He felt cheated and immediately demanded a refund, expressing his indignation and anger, stating that he would never do business with that person (my colleague) again. After a huge disappointment, a lot of stress, and being in the middle of that situation advocating for the common good of the parties, and especially my client, after a day, I got him his money back. After that, my client told me, "We'll talk about business the following week."

Next week, I'm writing to him telling him that we've launched a new project and I'd like him to meet him. I immediately shared all the information with him, and he said, "I'll call you later." The time came for him to call me. We exchanged some information about the weather and other things, and then he told me the following: "Take note, I'll make you two proposals." He immediately made me a purchase proposal for the unit I had shared with him last time and another proposal for the unit where we had the incident. I took note, contacted the developer, and presented both proposals. And so another rather stressful moment began.

We started with a proposal which was immediately accepted for him to reserve that unit. I asked him to make a transfer of the amount of $2000, he agreed and made the transfer for one of the units, later they accepted the proposal for the other unit and I asked him to make the transfer to reserve it as well, he did it, up to that point everything was on perfect track. , The next day she calls me and tells me that she would like to change the unit I reserved first for the one in the middle, for that we had to make a whole proposal with the possibility that they would not accept the proposal, after many exchanges of emails and negotiations they accepted the new proposal and we moved forward with the first project, then she told me (for the second project), "I want the apartment in the tower that is finished in 12 months, not the one that is finished in a year", from there on the second day at night I started a new negotiation for something that was already reserved, the developer responds to me that the same unit in the tower that would be delivered in 12 months was not available but we did have another unit available, I inform my client and tell him that we should move forward on that unit, we presented the payment proposal with the possibility that they would not accept it and finally they accepted and I breathed again, at that point he asks me "and the corner unit is the same, is it still available?", again I started a new negotiation on a unit that was already OK with the possibility of what They rejected my proposal. We started the entire negotiation, but with a lower price. Between questions and answers, they didn't accept our proposal, and the reservation was already made. The next day (day 3), I started a new negotiation. After four hours, we had the proposal approved, and I breathed a sigh of relief again. That afternoon, the client decided to change the proposal for the first development, which was already on track. Since they had changed the proposal for the second development, they should change the first one as well so their numbers would reflect accordingly. I was faced with a new proposal, a new negotiation, and a new possibility that they wouldn't accept my proposal. After using many methods and strategies, I managed to get them to accept the new proposal. My client was very happy, and I was more than happy and relieved. My colleague from the neighboring city was happier than at the beginning because we started with the purchase of one unit and ended up buying an apartment unit of a much higher value (it has benefited her as well).

Two days have passed since all of this, and I have learned a lot, mainly: not to give up even when the worst situations arise and in those moments ask myself the following question: "What is the worst that can happen?" take a deep breath and make use of emotional intelligence and move forward, for everything we must know that we can obtain the richest teachings to be able to move forward, implement them in our daily lives and thus be happier, more professional and more patient people.
