Stunning and historically significant: A Bronze Corinthian-Hermione Type Helmet

ca. 500 BC found in a warrior's grave (the Tomb of Denda) on the Taman Peninsula, Russia. It is significant as it is the only Hellenic Hoplite grave discovered so far North of the Black Sea. One of the greaves from the find has the man's name on it - "Denda".
