How are you all? I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. Today I will share with you the repair of the AC to DC fan of the Defender company.
A few days ago, an elder brother of mine from the factory – we were driving together – was telling me that he has a fan that was repaired once from the local market, but the repair was not done to his liking. Due to damage in its circuit, it was excluded from the remote controlling option. And an old transformer was given as the power supply, and the rectifier was not made properly. Due to which the output was coming from the transformer, but the fan was not getting enough power to run. Then it was given to me for repair, so let's see step by step what I did to this fan.
Step -01
First, you can see that I took the fan to my worktable, and it is running on low voltage; medium and high voltage are not working. Then I took the fan apart, and you can see that a very old transformer has been used as the power supply here. Transformer Then you can see the capacitor and diode here; a rectifier has been made with it, and the capacitor was given 35 volts, which is not very good for your transformer.
Step -02
Then the owner of the fan was saying that the light of this fan does not work after switching it on. Then I turned it on directly with a 12-volt battery as a power source and saw that the light was fine. Then I connected a separate power supply to check why the fan was not running properly. After connecting the separate power supply, you can see that the fan was spinning very fast, which means there was a problem in the power supply, due to which the fan was running in low mode but not in medium and high mode.
Step -03
Then I bought a new 12 0 12 transformer to use as a power supply. And I will collect the previous diodes to make a bridge rectifier with diodes.
Step -04
Then you can see here I took red and blue industrial wire and two capacitors (1000 µF, 25 volts). Then I connected the two capacitors with the output from the diode by connecting them in parallel, as you can see.
Step -05
Then I connected the 12 volts AC coming from the transformer to the AC end of the diode. Then after giving 220 volts input voltage to the primary section of the transformer, you can see here that 16.49 is giving an output of around DC 16 volts, which is pure.
Step -06
Then I connected the DC output to the fan-controlling circuit, positive to positive and ground to ground. Then as soon as I gave 220 volts of power, you can see that the fan light came on, which means the switch was given and the switch is working.
Step -07
Once the connections were complete, I fitted the circuit and the transformer to the body cover of the fan. Then after the fan was fully charged again, I charged it with 220-volt AC input voltage, tried turning the light back on and tried high, low and medium. Now everything is fine.

Sir, I am afraid that my videos will be lost. Today, on the 26th, I edited and uploaded my previously repaired 7 videos to YouTube so that they will not be lost in the future. Unfortunately, that video was deleted from my file, so it was gone before it was uploaded to YouTube.
Thank you very much sir for viewing my post and giving your valuable time. I don't understand how the video got deleted but I can't find it anywhere. What should I do now?
@shiftitamanna Madam, how are you? I hope you are well. It's been a long time since I saw you on the platform. I am very happy to receive your vote on my post. I hope you are well.

The video says it was removed, right?
Your step-by-step work using photographs explains the repair very well.
I don't understand how this happened by mistake. I'm already removing the video tag.
