올해(25년) 6월 18일,
임상 유전체 분석 및 액체 생검 분석 기업인 GC지놈은 AI 기반 다중암 조기진단 검사의 핵심 기술을 일본에 원천 특허로 등록했다고 합니다.


이 검사는 한 번의 채혈만으로 대장암, 식도암, 폐암, 간암, 난소암, 췌장담도암 등 주요 6대 암과 기타 암의 위험도까지 예측 가능하다고 합니다.




그리고

GC지놈 기업은 국내 주요 대학병원과 협력해서 7000건 이상의 임상 검체 데이터를 확보하였고,
자체 개발한 AI 알고리즘을 통해서 세포 유리 DNA 조각의 끝부분 염기서열 패턴과 핵산 단편 크기의 2가지 정보를 분석해서 기존 기술로는 감지하기 어려웠던 극소량의 암소페 유래 신호까지 찾아낸다고 합니다.


또한,

  • 이상 신호를 암 특이적 데이터를 기반으로 포착해서 조기 경고 시스템으로 활용할 수 있고,
    AI 분석 시스템에서 82.2%의 민감도를 기록하게 되면서 기술력을 입증했다고 합니다.






그리고
일본에 특허를 등록하면서...
일본 내 기술 사업화와 파트너십 체결 등을 단계적으로 추진할 예정이고,
국내 시장에서는 이 부분은 초기 단계라서 민간 병원 중심으로 시장을 선점할 생각인 것으로 보입니다.
