12 Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’
13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”
14 AND HE SAID, “MY PRESENCE WILL GO WITH YOU, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.”
15 THEN HE [Moses] SAID TO HIM [God], “IF YOUR PRESENCE DOES NOT GO WITH US, DO NOT BRING US UP FROM HERE.
16 FOR HOW THEN WILL IT BE KNOWN THAT YOUR PEOPLE AND I HAVE FOUND GRACE IN YOUR SIGHT, EXCEPT YOU GO WITH US? SO WE SHALL BE SEPARATE, YOUR PEOPLE AND I, FROM ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.”
Exodus 33:12–16 (NKJV)

• If your Christianity had not gotten to this level, the level of being intimate with God and having communion with Him, you are still shallow and immature.

  • The actual growth of whoever professed to be a believer is in being able to engage in conversational prayer with God and having a strong communion or fellowship with Him.
  • Congregational prayer is good, and being able to pray together with your family, spouse and children, is all right; but If the aspect of meeting with God one on one is missing, you cannot have the full understanding of God and the hidden things of the Kingdom would not be made known to you.
  • The actual growth of a believer is in the heartfelt prayer and the communion that such is having with God.
  • If the ministry of Moses and that of Jesus Christ were observed, one would deduce that they both always departed from the crowd to stay with God, seeking His face and fellowshipping with Him (Exodus 24:12-15; 33:9-11; Mark 1:35; Luke 4:42,43; 5:16; 6:12; 9:28,29).
  • The secret of their successes in their assignments or ministries could not be far from their usual fellowship with God the Father.

II. Another important thing that would lead or make a believer had God's presence is, when such take time out to feast on the Word of God regularly.

  • The life, the power of God, is drawn through the feasting on the Word of God. I have read of some who are mightily used of God that they at times locked themselves up somewhere, away from where they could be disturbed or distracted, and feast on the Word of God.
  • And, of course, If you feast on the Word, that would ignite the fire of prayer on the inside of you. The True knowledge of the Word of God leads to fervency in prayer.

• All you need to strive for is God's presence.

  • When you had God's presence, you had His power already. Many pray for power of God, or the anointing, but what is ultimately needed by whoever is assigned to fulfil a purpose or vision is the presence of God.
  • When you carry His presence or have His presence, you have His power readily available with you. Where His presence is, there His power is, also.
  • Moses said If God's presence would not go with him, he would not go. He did not say, If His power would not go with him, but His presence.
  • Someone who believes God has sent him or her on a particular assignment would not go without God's presence, If such did, any minor familiar spirit can deal with him or her.
  • What you do not have, God would not need; your availability and being submissive enough to follow Him, and having a time to fellowship with Him, are the most important things that are needed from you.
  • It is God's presence, both in your life and ministry that would make the difference; distinguish you from the multitude—others.
  • It will distinguish or differentiate you from others who do not consider staying with God a thing of paramount importance.

• Endeavour to get His presence and you will excel in your assignment.

  • Every ungodly relationship in your life, that has been inhibiting the presence of God, should be broken or called a quit.
  • Any ungodly friendship, or relationship, which has affected or slowed you down, in your walk with God should be done with or broken.

"RUN FROM ANYTHING THAT GIVES YOU THE EVIL THOUGHTS THAT YOUNG MEN OFTEN HAVE, BUT STAY CLOSE TO ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO DO RIGHT. HAVE FAITH AND LOVE, AND ENJOY THE COMPANIONSHIP OF THOSE WHO LOVE THE LORD AND HAVE PURE HEARTS."
2 Timothy 2:22 (the Living Bible)

• You will not fail in the mighty name of Jesus.

  • Should there be any contrary thing in your system that is working against your health and wellness, such is rebuked and rooted out completely.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
