GOD'S MINISTERS AND THE PEOPLE UNDER THEIR LEADERSHIP 5
15 MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS; GIVE YOURSELF ENTIRELY TO THEM, that your progress may be evident to all.
16 TAKE HEED TO YOURSELF AND TO THE DOCTRINE [teaching]. Continue in them, FOR IN DOING THIS YOU WILL SAVE BOTH YOURSELF AND THOSE WHO HEAR YOU."
1 Timothy 4:15,16 (NKJV)
• A minister and sacrifice.
- You would need to sacrifice a number of things for the work committed to your hand to grow. Your assignment would demand for a price. You had to sacrifice your way up. Be willing to pay whatever the price may be.
- Sacrifice your time, money, properties, career, aspirations and goals, pleasures and comforts, for the sake of the Kingdom—the call of God on your life, or the assignment.
- Note: If God has called you and you are sure of it, face It squarely and put other things aside. The sufferings or challenges of the initial stage would only be for a while: "BUT MAY THE GOD OF ALL GRACE, WHO CALLED US TO HIS ETERNAL GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS, AFTER YOU HAVE SUFFERED A WHILE, PERFECT, ESTABLISH, STRENGTHEN, AND SETTLE YOU" (1 Peter 5:10 NKJV).
• A minister and money.
- If you are faithful in whatever you are called or assigned to do, God would not hesitate to bless you materially.
- Trust God for your finances; to provide for your personal needs and the work you do.
- Practice Giving.
a. You sow up to go up. In other words, sow to the life and ministries of those who are ahead of you in the work, who's grace or the anointing you crave or desire.
b. Sow to the work of those who are your contemporaries also, for you to be established.
c. You can equally sow to the ministries that are just starting, for you to have a family of the upcoming ministers that are relating with you.
• You will not miss it in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is not of God in your life, such is cursed and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- You will live in total health all the days of your life, in Jesus' mighty name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
