ROCCA MALATESTIANA-Verrucchio-Provincia di Rimini

Sigismondo Malatesta in 1449, built one of the largest and best preserved Malatesta fortifications in Verrucchio in the province of Rimini.
Inside the castle we find the imposing family tree of the Malatesta family, the two courtyards, the rooms of the Baronial Palace and the Mastio Tower from which you can admire the beautiful landscape of the Valmarecchia.
The main feature of the fortress is the guardhouse where a large clock that marks the hours is set in the central Piazza Malatesta.
Along the cobbled street you arrive at the center of the town.
