The Diary Game: (10/07/2025) SENSITIZATION DAY
Hello amazing steemfam, how is the weather treating you at your various ends? It's really cold over here.
Yesterday was an amazing day, what made it amazing was the fact that I had the opportunity to do one thing which I love doing(educating people)
It turned out that a food lover like me said no to morning food yesterday just so I could get ready in time like my colleagues but I honestly think I over did it as I finished quite early and had to wait for about an hour for others to arrive so we could all get to the venue.
We picked a particular school in the community for the sensitization, I got scammed by our president that the journey wasn't going to be far 😩, not only was it far the road to the school was a bit messy because of the rain. I can't count the number of times I almost slipped and fall in the mud but God is my strength 🤲.
We got to the school and after all protocol was duely observed we proceeded to doing what took us there. We took turns to create awareness about some topics which included environmental sanitation, personal hygiene and general sanitation, your girl handled personal hygiene✌️
It was really an interactive and educative one and i was so glad I got to contribute my own quota. We presented the little we went with and took lots of pictures with them, trust me they were very happy to have us.
As the secretary of my Cds group, I had to come up with a report which actually took some minutes of my time while I was listening to the worms reminding me of my humanly dities to them, i knew I owed them but they had to bear with me to conclude my report which they did and I finally had something to eat.
By this time the sun and rain were back to their struggle, fighting for who was going to occupy the sky. That didn't stop me from washing my clothes and my shoe which played a vital role in carrying my legs to the school and having to guide through the mud although succeeded in spoiling my toe nail which has left me in pains😭
After all was done, I took sometime to rest before I could knew it I felt hungry again so I helped myself with my first aid while waiting for the main dish which I later ate late at night.
