Creative Writing Contest Vol 6

Steem greetings,

Today, we bring you Volume 06 of the Creative Writing Contest for Cameroonian Steemians. The contest organized by @thegreens aims at promoting creative writing for Cameroonian steemians. This edition, @thegreens is giving 20 Steem to Cameroon steemians who will write about Green Deeds.

@thegreens has realized most Steem newbies are more focused on #thediarygame making the @steem-cameroon community to be heavily flooded with #thediarygame posts, giving the few creative writers very little exposure in the community.
As such @thegreens seeks to promote creative writing among Cameroonian steemians by rewarding all Cameroonian steemians who are blogging about anything other than #thediarygame with 02 steem for their creative writing. This edition will be the third themed edition of the Creative Writing Contest.

Green Deeds

With June being a month of global environmental education and action, we want to dedicate this edition of the Creative Writing Contest to the environment and that's why this edition is themed "Green Deeds".

Green deeds are simply actions we take to create a healthier, safer and more sustainable planet. They can be as simple as refusing single use plastics, planting trees, educating people about environmentalism, clean-up, homesteading etc.
On June 05, we celebrated World Environment Day, June 08 was Oceans Day and June 17 was Desertification and Drought Day. These environmental days are the reason for this edition of the Creative Writing Contest.

For this edition, we want you to tell us about something you've ever done to protect the environment. It could be a clean-up activity, an environmental conference you participated in, a tree planting exercise or anything you've ever done to take care of the environment.

Contest Rules:

1. Make a creative post about an environmental activity you ever participated in or engaged in. The contest wants you to talk about something you've ever done to protect the environment. It could be a clean-up activity, an environmental conference you participated in, a hike, a tree planting exercise or anything you've ever done to take care of the environment.
2. Publish your post in the @steem-cameroon community
3. Use “#creativewriting” “#thegreens” "#greendeeds" "#steemit" and "#cameroon" as your primary tags
4. Comment with a link of your post on this post as well as comment on at least 50% of all contest entries.
5. Upvote and resteem this post
6. Contest is strictly for Cameroonian Steemians

Contest Duration

The contest is a weekly contest and will run from today to Friday 25th June 2021 at 11:59PM

Contest Prize

The best two entries will receive 05 Steem and 03 Steem whereas all creative posts will receive 01 - 02 Steem each (depending on the number of entries) and then an upvote and resteem from @thegreens and @steem-cameroon
