The Diary Game [21/06/25] : A day that started and ended well

On the 21st day of June 2025, I spent most of my time in the church because that's where I go every Saturday morning. I saw something surprising when I went to the church though it was something I was aware of but I didn't expect it to happen in June. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

Morning Period

I woke up very early that morning and checked my steemit notification after saying a short prayer. There were new notifications and I was glad I received them. I went to the church two hours later which was around 7am and that day I went to the church early unlike some other Saturdays I used to arrive there after 7am. The morning mass haven't ended yet so I and other people had to wait for it to end while some people who came before us decided to join the mass.

When the mass ended I went to meet the boys and we started washing our vestments. Some men in our church were playing that morning and it was very lively. I urged the boys to focus on their work and stop watching the football game so that they can finish their work in time. They were removing the old roof in the church from the beginning to almost the middle and we shifted everything that were there forward which made the church to look small. I didn't expect them to remove the roof that day because I thought they will do it from this month or maybe during the dry season.

Afternoon Period

We finished all our activities close to 12pm and the boys started playing football. I didn't join them because I had other things to do and I wasn't fully fit yet because I played basketball the previous day for more than one hour. I was busy pressing my phone and watching the football game they were playing. I took pictures of them playing and they asked if I will like to join them but I said No, next week I will play.

They kept their slippers close to one of the doors of the church and some of them removed their trousers too. The game was very interesting and i left the church premises one hour later. I went to the house, charged my phone and relaxed for a while before I ate lunch. It was a very sunny day and I was delighted everything was successful.

Evening Period

I was so busy in the night because I had a very important discussion with a friend of mine about something that was going to take place soon. We both agreed on a particular day to carry out our plans then we ended the discussion which took place via WhatsApp and started doing our own personal things. I ate roasted corn that night and it came from my dad's little farm, he plants alot of things in his farm and corn is among these things.

We have always boiled any corn he brings but this time around my parents decided to make it a roasted corn and I enjoyed it because I haven't eaten it for a very long time. I voted some posts in steemit to increase my voting CSI as well and I also checked my club status to confirm if I was still in club100 even though I know I haven't withdrawn any steem since April 2025.
