Hello everyone. Greetings to you all and welcome to my post on graphics design week 6 of the steeemit engagement challenge. It's been an amazing week of contest and I enjoyed every bit of the lesson.

A big Thank you to my trainer and instructor @lhorgic for the words of encouragement and corrections to shaping me to become a better graphics designer.

To begin with this week's task, I will be mentioning a few things I have learn so far as graphics design is concerned. This rules are known as principles which may be applied in every graphics design to make the message and design more appealing to the target audience.

Rounding up with the lesson, I have been task to produce any professional graphics design which will served as my end of course graphics of the the week and season. To begin with, I will like to mention the various principles I will be using in my design as previously instructed and learned.

Principles to my design

Color selection and combination: The most important aspect we have to look out for is the color combination. This topic was treated in week 2 of this season engagement challenge . You can check out the lesson here.

The color wheel was discussed and we get to learn about the primary colors, Red , blue and green which combine to give other colors, second and secondary to give tertiary.

In this contest I'm using the principle of color theory application to make sure I have the desired design.

Balance: This is another aspect we have to be careful about when working with our designs. Balance need to be implemented and making sure or elements are organized in an organize and equitable manner.

Emphasis: Another important aspect is laying emphasis on pool ur design and making sure the elements or typograph we are laying emphasis on is well exposed and visible to the observers. It could be emphasis on a text, an element or image.

Hierarchy: We have to make mention of hierarchy when working with our designs. This take into consideration which elements, typograph we want to display in order of importance. This leave our designs looking great as the audience could be able to tell the difference just by observing our designs.

Typography: in this aspect the type of font use in a design should be able to display other principles such as hierarchy and emphasis. This unique typography is used at the center of our design and it displays the main information in our design. Different types of typography exist. Such as script, serif, san serif and impact. Applying the right typography on our design, we can generate greater results.

Elements spacing and dimensions: This is one of the mistakes I made while carrying out my previous task. I neglected the aspect of element spacing and it greatly affected my designs. Thanks to my trainer I am able to clear it through.

Elements and dimensions are a key aspect to take not of when working on a design. Designers should refrain from making their elements too space and closed as well. Dimensions, our elements should be sizable enough and not too close to the edge or to avoid printing problems.

This are the few of the many I will be using to implement in my final graphics design for this season.
