The Diary Game//A Boring Off Day From Work (11/02/2025)

Good evening @everyone, trust everyone had a great and amazing day,to my beautiful colleague @missyleo I miss you today much love. Today was really sunny here in Nigeria and heat was at work. It great I share with my fellow steemians how I spent my day off from work today.

Okay.... So today was my day off from work and I was excited at least I will get to have more rest. I woke up early in the morning by 5a.m up and grateful, I do my morning prayer which is my normal daily routine, after that I went back to bed because I wasn't going to work, funny enough I couldn't even sleep again because I got alot going on my head. I was just laying on my bed chatting with a friend I was supposed to meet with the HR of their company, he gave me the HR contact I called but unfortunately the line was switched off I will try later, I had to attend to other things.

By 9a.m I was up from bed, I remembered i needed to reach out to my mentor for something I didn't understand, onto newcomer that I am (laughing). He's always there to assist, he responded to my calls and put me through what I wanted to know, and the whole process was successful, thank you @megareigns, I really appreciate. After that, I shower, brush my teeth. I was now thinking of what to eat because am out of alot of food stuff at home...I concluded with eaten Noodles, I went to the kitchen I had two(2) packs that was left, I send my sister to buy me a sachet of chocolate tea, I made it and take with tea as breakfast.

I was still communicating with my friend who I needed to visit their company and the HR contact was still switched off, I was sad because after today I would be chance, and my friend said I have to talk to the HR before coming to the company. I couldn't go anywhere because I was expecting to hear from them.

My junior sister was at home too today, she is writing her second semester examination and today she didn't have any course to write, she was busy reading, and I was just there so bored, still trying to reach the HR all to no avail. I was sad and bored, my sister saw my facial impression and try to cheer me up.

I later went down d street to get snacks, I then saw aboki man selling carrots, I diverted to buying carrots because is one of my favourite fruits. I ate some, later my sister made coconut,I then use some carrots to eat the rice.

Till 6p.m the HR line was still switched off and I didn't do anything for myself been my only day off for the month of February, plus poor power supply during the day time which made me sweat and shower many times. Such a boring day, no appetite for dinner. I had to share my day with my lovely people in steemit, after that I went to bed, good night everyone.....
