Mydairygame: Administering Examination to Students (21/3/2025)

My dear wonderful steeminans from Cameroon Community. It's yout friend, @okokon. I am a regular writer in this community. I love this community. How was weekend going? Did you know that yesterday, 21st March was my birthday? Oh yes! It fell on a weekend. That is why I want to tell you how my Friday was. I spent almost all my day in the school. Please stay tune, let me take you on a ride of how to I spent my Friday.

Conducting examination in school and celebrating birthday was a thick and a stressful day. That day was one of the days I won't forget in a hurry. Celebration and joy rented my day.

As usual, I woke up earlier than I had planned. This was because as a vice principal in my school, I had to peruse and schedule teachers who would supervise exams in each of the classes (from JSS1 to SS3). By 4am, I had woken up, took bath and then went to read my Bible before I left home. My wife and children were still sleeping. I didn't want to disturb them.

To catch up with activities lining up for the day, I didn't want to wait to prepare breakfast. Again, I wanted to reach work place early to plan before everyone arrives. By 6am, unlike normql 7.30, I had left home. I arrived at school by 7am. Although, I met few students who stay in the hostel and a teacher, Mr. Seth, at least I wasn't really late.

Immediately I arrived, I settled down, scheduled supervision and planned for the day. We have few teachers. Majority are on part-time teaching. Therefore, almost every teacher was involved in the daily supervision.

Students were scheduled to write three exams per day. This will make them to focus on reading few papers and prepare well for the subjects.

The students were excited in their Wednesday's wear, ready to write their exams. I gave them a short briefing on the modalities of the exams.

Although I am not a science teacher, I was involved as the general supervisor in all the exams the students took. Science practical was interesting. I was involved, trying to make sure the SS3 students get accurate reading in their titration practical.

After the exams by 3pm, I was celebrated by my SS3 literature students. I didn't expect that students could give me such gifts. About 10 of them had contributed a token to buy me a bag where I can be putting my books to school. Other classes joined the chorus with different gifts ranging from money to drinks. I was so excited receiving gifts from students on my birthday. May God bless them.

I came back home satisfied though I had a stressed day supervising exams. I was at home by 4.50pm. I had bath to refresh myself before I could take my lunch. I tell you I was extremely tired. Sequel to this, I was compelled to relax with sleep.

I woke up by 8pm to read and make corrections on the typed exams against next week so that I could know what to do next. I had a little time by 9pm to write a post in steemit against the next day. My Friday was so exciting, using one stone to kill two birds. I was involved in exams as well as celebrating my birthday.

That was how my Friday went.
