Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 26-4-2025

Every 26th April will forever be my best day , Do you know why? Because the okere-blessing you know today got married on that day 2015, I was eagerly waiting on this day because it was a round figure yeah my big 10 in marriage. I'm sure some of you don't know that I have gone this far , it was the beauty of early marriage if you ask me.

I started my day by having my makeup done, which is what I do on rare occasions to avoid getting used to makeup. This day I booked the woman and she told me to come around 10am . I finished what I supposed to do at home selected my children cloth and shoes for them so that my husband can easily help them to dress up.

Off to the makeup artist shop where I met her apprentice , but I waited for their madam to handle the makeup by herself.

She arrived with smiles and commenced her work by shaving My brows, My kids called to know if I was through so they can start coming, I told them to wait for about 5 minutes by then we can round up with the makeup, they have already worn their clothes from the video call I made it them.

I was ready I put call across so that we can meet by the studio, when they came we drove down there and got some memorable pictures.

I choose this day as my best day because of the reasons below 👇.

• Reunion. This day was like a reunion between my husband and I , the togetherness I felt on this day was one of it's kind.

• Party. It's a day we partied like never before, because of the joy of reaching 10 . Luckily for us friends and families also joined us and strengthened the bond with some words of advise.

• Photo shoot. Do you know the last time I snapped studio pictures with my husband and family? This day we made up our mind to have some studio pictures, isn't that awesome?

• We ate my favorite food. My husband ordered for my favorite food and I enjoyed it without hesitation though my phone went off to record it.

Happy me

If anyone can open my heart on this day I'm pretty sure that it will be filled with happiness and joy. I was laughing very loud to the jokes friends made during the online celebration of my anniversary by steemians.

It was a wrap when I joined my children to watch their favorite PJ masks video as I was watching I felt sleepy and dozed off on the chair. When I got up and realized I was down and entered my bathroom and had a warm bath . That was how I concluded my best day . I enjoyed everything and would like to invite my friends to share their best day in this contest by Steem Cameroon.
