RE: Relocating is not just a move but It is a mental shift
You have said it all Sir. Relocation as to do with emotions, I remember when I was about leaving my aunt whom have stayed with for twelve years I cried many times thinking about so many things which you have outline already;
How will I cope in my new environment,it was much difficult for me because I was actually leaving town to village contemplating with so many things, how I will cope in the village, starting life in the village was a bit difficult for me but now I have been able to adjust while developing and acquiring knowledge for business.
Thank you for always putting a impactful thought for us here. I love reading your post and I wish I could write like you do.😁😁
Lol, the last section made me smile. I’m still learning how to be a writer. Steemit has helped me with writing content for social media. If you say I’m doing well, I honestly say it is thanks to my time and growth on that platform.
You have to stay consistent and learn from your mistakes. I have made a lot of mistakes on this platform, and fortunately, I have used those mistakes to correct and improve myself.
Back to your comment, whenever you step out of your comfort zone, it is never easy. You have to let go of your familiar environment and adapt to a completely new location. Just thinking about the challenges can sometimes scare you into wanting to go back. LOL.
Thanks to @nsisong2022, you have been doing extremely well on the platform. I’m hoping to tap into your motivation.
Exactly Sir, when I left my aunt place I thought of going back because of the conducive environment I was enjoying like constant light and solar system installed at home, the first few months wasn't nice but overtime I realize I was actually living my whole life to pleased my aunt family and I have realize the part of my life that I need to develop to fit in and live well in the changing society.
Earnestly speaking, I didn't believe I can be these far, because when my mentor introduce the platform to me and talk about writing and markdown I see myself as incapable of the tasks that is while I couldn't utilize my first three months as a newcomer very well. But overtime, I can comfortably create three Post in a day without lacking words, all these can be attributed to all your support and encouragement from my boss @etette who constantly insist I should put something down that with often times I will get perfect which I did and now here I am,I greatly appreciate you all.
Lastly, your diary always inspire and spur me up to do more.
Thank you for always finding out time to engage with me here.
Hahahahaha, that’s the situation most of us went through. I knew about the platform back in 2016, but the fact that I had to write a post kept me from joining. I just did not feel ready. It was not until 2020 that I finally made up my mind to give it a try.
It’s been a learning process step by step, I have been improving. This platform has even helped me professionally. For example, it’s given me a better understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, knowledge I would have had to pay for on other platforms.
I will keep saying this, this platform is not for fraudsters. If you want to stay here, you must be truthful with yourself first. During my time here, I have seen many people come and go. Most of them left because they did not want to develop themselves. They wanted to get rich quickly from the platform.
Yes, we all want to earn. Like one of my friends always says, Chop small small, chop for long.
Back to your comment. The moment you are on your own, you begin to learn how to take responsibility for your actions. Every choice from that point is yours. If it fails, you learn. If it succeeds, you knock your head and say, Well done.
That is when you know you are becoming independent, because no one needs to tell you what direction to take.
No matter what, I’m very positive about the growth that comes from stepping out of your comfort zone.
This is just nothing but the truth Sir, I have been independent ever since I left my aunt house I take full responsibility of my actions, I can remember when I lost my phone due to power outage while charging in someone's house and my phone was stolen, I had to buy a new one without waiting for anyone for help " that's me being responsible for my action".
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me, I greatly valued your time.
