The Dairy Game: Wrong Side of the Bed.

Hello Beautiful POOKIES😍, Trust y'all are doing great today?.. It's another day here and not just a regular day but the First day of the week. I'm I the only one who doesn't anticipate a new week so fast because of how much I enjoy weekends? Well, Little Miss has to get off the bed knowing she has no right to reverse the hands of the clock. I'm still yet to know if I had a Long day or a short one. We will get to know by the end of this blog. Once again, it's your girl @mercigold.

Waking up from the Wrong Side of the bed isn't the best feeling one should have for a new day, that moment your body aches in an unexplainable way and boom!! I jumped Up hearing my alarm ring for the sixth time. My goodness!! It's 10:30am. I started wondering how I'm to meet up with an appointment I have with my supervisor by 11:00am. Immediate, I rushed into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and had a quick bath. At this point there was no thought for breakfast because I was already running out of time.

The little ache I felt earlier while in bed persisted during bath session in the bathroom. So I opted to see a Doctor or pharmacist on my way but before then I rushed downstairs to catch-up with my friend who planned on tagging along. It's 11:05am already.

I started wondering how to navigate my way with the consciousness that I'm already late for an appointment. I got to the entrance gate, here we have security personnels who check-In people and as well check-out. My goodness!! I forgot my I.D card at home. Where do I start from? I quickly turned on my phone to get the soft copy of my I.D card so I could have access In. The security personnels refused my entrance with a soft copy I.D, they insisted on having the hard copy. In their word " That's the organization rule". This moment, several thoughts and idea began to swim through my mind. I calculated the distance of going back home and coming back here, sincerely that's a whole lot of time.

It's 12:00 noon and I'm yet to be sitted in front of my supervisor. I dropped a quick text and noticed she wasn't active online then I called. The call went through the first time with no response, I waited for a minute and tried again. This time she picked up the call and with so much anxiety I had several apology lines in my head to express at every complain she makes. "I'm in a meeting, let's reschedule" she replied and hanged up. I felt complete relieve. Afterward my friend and I headed to buy new pant trousers and few shirts.

Suddenly,we both began to develop cravings, so we headed to our favorite local dish spot where we had ball cassava flour,pepper stew and fish. One of these days I'll tell y'all what it's called in our local dialect.Other local African dishes like pounded yam, pumpkin leaf soup and many more are being sold here.I enjoyed the first meal of the day with my friend. We took some time to rest before taking our leave.

On our way back home, I insisted we stop by the pharmacy we earlier bought drugs because my Aunt called and requested we help her buy her vitamin supplement capsules and gummies. While on this, the pharmacist asked about my wellbeing and how I'm feeling by the end of the day. "Well very well eventually" I smiled, she smiled and we headed out.

Having a lover girl as a friend is like becoming a therapist without certification. I'm just being sarcastic here guys but truth being told my friend's love story is one to be discussed on. Indeed we had a great time today. Now you see why waking up from the Wrong Side of the bed could either cause a longer day or a shorter one. Thank y'all for engaging, see you in my next post
