The Diary Game: Making Kpomo Stew/ Helping My Friend Buy Household Items [30/01/2025]

Good day everyone and welcome to today's diary session with you favourite steemian @megareigns. Happy weekend to everyone, so how are you all doing? Cos for me I am enjoying the best of my day week and looking forward to the blessings that comes with this weekend, so in the same spirit, let me share how my day went.

Thursday was going to be quite another busy day, I had so many places to go and honestly to start with this, I needed to start my day with prayers and I did that before stepping out of my room.

Before I left my room, I took some cash with me then went to the nearby small market and bought stuffs to prepare *Kpomo Stew* . So I bought;

• Kpomo (Cow skin)

• Fresh Tomatoes

• Sachet Tomatoes

• Groundnut Oil

• Seasoning Cubes

• Onions

• Pepper.

When I came back, I washed the Kpomo and cut them into tiny pieces then washed my fresh tomatoes and sliced it with my onions and got set to prepare my stew.

When I was done parboiling my rice, I went into making the stew proper, it took me over an hour before I was able to finish up what I was doing, so before I ate, I took my bath and brushed my mouth.

After bathing, I dished the food and began to eat while scrolling through some posts on steemit. I really enjoyed it, it never tasted bad like I thought it will owing to the fact that it's been a while I prepared this kind of stew.

When I finished eating, my friend @jubil12 called that I should come help him buy some new house hold items because he just rented an apartment, I took my bath again and then stepped out of my house immediately I finished dressing up, the road was quite busy but I loved the environment, it's been ages I last visited this part of the city, a lot has really changed anyway.

When I called to know the exact location he was, he told me and then I went straight to where he was, I start with choosing the mattress he wanted to buy, he was quite indecisive of the one to choose so I helped him do that and he was very okay with what I choose.

When we finished buying the mattress, he bought two pillows and bedspread then we called kekenapep to come carry us to his new apartment, we actually paid for a full chatter to his place, I am really happy for him that despite how tough things are, he was able to get those stuffs for himself.

When we arrived his new apartment, we offloaded the mattress and other items and took it in, this was the first time I saw this, he really did make a good choice. So we packed the stuffs inside and believe me the room is very spacious, he had to launch his mattress before anyone else.

I was just so happy, I went into his bathroom and everywhere was cleaned up, he told me he had paid some people to come clean up the house for him, I was just so happy for him, I jumped into his empty bathtub and was just posing for some pictures then after a while I left there.

We stayed together to arrange the things we bought and the ones he had already packed to the house, we swept and also made sure the dust were cleaned off before we left the place, I had to rush back home so I could come to my bath because I was sweating and running temperature.

When I got back home, I took my bath and then went outside to go buy coca-cola drink and bread. This served as my lunch. I took it then came back online and helped about two people signed up steemit and 2 others to make their Introduction post here on steemit.

When I was done with them, I was tired so I took my nap and after waking up by 5pm, I made my first post on steemit then stepped out to go watch the football training that was going on in the nearby field. I didn't waste much time there anyways because it wasn't interesting like the rest of the days so I had to come back home.

By 7pm, I warmed my rice with stew then dished it and that was what I took for dinner. I used banana to step it down. After eating I took my bath and climbed my bed then came online on steemit to vote and comment on people's posts to wrap up my day.

When I went offline, I took sometime to pray before finally going to bed and that was how my day went. Thank you so much my friends for staying up with me, I really do appreciate, till my next diary please do stay safe and take care of yourselves out there. I love you all.
