Insect - Macro Photography

I found this insect perching on a cassava that has been peeled and soaked inside water. It will be used for fufu.

The creature looks like a giant beetle. I think it was enjoying this newly harvested crop after missing it for a long time. I didn't bother it. I just took a couple of shots and left.
