My less busy and a fulfilled day in office. [21-06-2025]

Today, 21st June was seemed to be a less busy day for me in office, for some reason, the usual hustle and bustle was missing. I had no option than to feel relieved as I scanned my to-do list for the day. Unlike other days, I didn't have any pressing deadlines or mountains of paperwork to tackle.

My tasks for the day were relatively light. I spent the morning photocopying some documents, doing a bit of typing, and snapping a few passport photos for clients. One of my clients also needed help typing up a marriage list of items for their in-law to be, which I quickly completed. The morning flew by, and before I knew it, lunchtime had arrived. I took a leisurely break, enjoying my meal and catching up on some news.

The afternoon was just as quiet, until 4:30 pm when Pastor Ebenezer from Miracle Life Christian Centre walked into my office. He looked a bit frazzled, and I could tell he was on a mission.

"Good afternoon" he said, extending his hand. " hope you can help me. Our church printer is out of town, and we need some urgent printing done for tomorrow's service." He explained that they needed a track of their weekly activities printed, as well as a separate track with some Bible verses for new converts. I listened attentively, nodding my head to assure him that I was up to the task.

"Don't worry, Pastor" I said with a smile. "I'll make sure everything is done accurately and on time." Pastor Ebenezer looked relieved, and we quickly got to work. I designed the tracks, and by 6 pm, the printing was complete. The pastor's face lit up as he reviewed the final products.

"Thank you so much," he exclaimed, his voice filled with gratitude. "You've saved us from a big headache. I promise to bring more of our church's printing work to you in the future."

I beamed with pride, feeling happy that I could help. As the pastor left my office, I felt grateful for the quiet day that had turned into something meaningful. It was a reminder that even on the slowest of days, unexpected opportunities can arise, and it's up to us to seize them.

Thank you for going through my post. Do have a great time ahead.
