Celebrating our Grandma as she marked her 90th birthday: 5th March, 2025.

In this article, I'll be sharing the joy that came with the celebration of our Grandmother's 90th birthday. Yesterday was a momentous occasion for our family as we gathered to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone. Our grandmother, Mrs. Paulina Christin Edet was born on 5th March, 1935. At 90, she's very strong and energetic irrespective of the accident she had last year that makes her to be using wheelchair.

Yesterday, 5th March, 2025 was our grandmother's 90th birthday! The atmosphere was electric, filled with vibrant colours, unbridled joy, and an abundance of delicious food and refreshing drinks.

Grandma gave birth to 5 children (2 male and 3 female), 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren children who are all alive and celebrated her remarkable day.

The celebration was a testament to our grandmother's remarkable life, which has been filled with love, laughter, and adventure. At 90 years young, she remains a shining example of strength, resilience, and wisdom. Her sparkling eyes and infectious smile lit up the room, and it was clear that she was thrilled to be surrounded by loved ones.

The party was a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity, with plenty of mouth-watering "chop chop" (a Nigerian term for snacks or small dishes) to go around. From succulent jollof rice to savory suya, and from refreshing glasses of zobo to sweet slices of birthday cake, every culinary delight was on offer.
