That's like cool banana bread. Sounds good.
Did you know about carbon filter water purifiers? You can also stage them. Then put filters in that remove grit and other stuff first before the carbon.
1 drop of chlorine bleach per five gallons of water and waiting twenty-four hours works good. It's cheap and I have done it for over a decade.
You can hook them to hoses or PVC pipe
Like this:
That's a 1/10th horsepower sump pump 110 vac.
Filters last 10,000 gallons for carbon.
If the water is really nasty you can shoot it through a couple of socks first or into a box of sand with thick cotton padding on the bottom., set on the top of a wide mouth water barrel first.
Saves a lot a money over time.
I have never heard of it. Wow, it seems the best option and will definitely save a lot of money. How do I purchase one, and what is the cost?
You can buy it online. I don't think it's $40 for filter holder. The filter cartridges are about $12. The sump pump is like $35. There are several brands
I probably should have thought of this: these usually sold in the plumbing section. I know you have home/building/hardware stores there. Sometimes farm and ranch stores will have them.
Oooh okay, I will check if not found in those stores, I will probably check online to order. Thank you for recommending this to me.
Remember, those charcoal filters last ten thousand gallons if the is pre-cleaned first. If it's really nasty, they may last a barrel full and that's it.
