The Diary Game Season 3 [Wednesday January 22nd, 2025 ]

It is another moment for me to share how I spent my day. It is always a great exercise to evaluate my activity for the day. As I will always say, every day has its challenges.

I usually wake up at 4:30 a.m. Go through my phone, and do morning exercises. That helps me have a refreshed and relaxed mind at the start of the day. First, my daily task is to drop the kids at school. They were done preparing and we stepped out. ,

I drop off the kids at school, I make sure they are placed in their respective classrooms. Back to the office, remember the cooking gas needed to be replaced. So I quickly got home before coming back to my place of work. I had a cup of coffee and looked at tasks for the day.

Most importantly was an online training to one of my clients on the CMS package for the website. Online because the client is based out of town, I had work to go through my financial records for 2024. It took me over two hours to put everything in place. The training is expected to start at 10 am. I was not ready, so I delayed the start for 20 minutes.

I started by taking my client through the site, from one page to the other. That was to make sure we achieved the objectives of showcasing the institute. We made some corrections and adjustments on the site. I was okay. We made their aspirations and expectations concerning how they wanted. Next was the training on the CMS package, where I started by creating an account. We both logged in and I was directing and explaining the functionality of each feature.

Interestingly, their level of understanding was good and I didn't have to repeat myself. We did some practical sessions where we made changes to the website. I made clear it was okay to make mistakes today since I'm online to be fixed immediately. Normally I always love to have my client make mistakes, so I can fix sections that I missed. As a developer, avoid bugs in your projects. You need to think like a user, so common mistakes are important to come across.

I was done with the training, I needed to rush to see my daughter's class teacher. Today is the day parents are asked to meet the kid's class teacher and have a chat about the child's situation in class. It was interesting and not much to talk about because I had been talking with the class teacher. It was close time, and I decided to wait and pick up my son. I brought them home and rushed back to the office.

Today was my friend's daughter's birthday party. I could not make it because of a meeting at my daughter's school with the class teacher. So, the parcel for my kids was sent to me when I got to the office. I had cake which I couldn't wait to eat before closing for the day.

Today is Match Day, and Arsenal will be playing against D Zagreb at home. It has been a while since we haven't won a game at home, we needed a winning spirit. We started in the second minute of the game, we had our first goal.

By the end of the game, Arsenal won the game by three (03) goals to zero for DZG. With a draw, Arsenal is qualified for the knockout stage of the Champion League. It was a great game, a clean sheet and we were looking at wolves at the weekend.

It was after the game, I took some time to drop this post and go to bed. That is how I ended my day.
