Club100.The Diary Game: 20th/04/2023
Hi Steemit
Hi Steemit Friends
Hi steem Hi steem world.
MORNING
On the morning of the 20th of April 2023, My stay in Tombel was over and so it was time to Travel Back to My home town Bamenda.
It was raining that fateful Morning but rain could not stop me from Travelling. I took a bath and got ready to head for loum.
Breakfast before travelx
I ate my meal and went down to the road with a friend who wanted to give me a bottle of beer for the good job I had done. It should be noted that i visited the court of First for a case file that was filed against a Friend.
At the Court
When I got to court on the morning of the 16th of April, I located the court room the judge was to seat for the hearing and after that i targeted the Lawyer of My opponent who himself was looking For me. We had a little conversation before entering the court room.
Fast Forward, a judgement was given and the case discharged.
I now sent a guy who lives not far from where i was to go and get me a confident rider who was capable of taking me to loum so I could meet up with a Bus going to Bamenda.
on My way to Loum
I left tombel that morning really satisfied and on our way out, We met the mixed control of Army, Gerndamerie, and Police. There were somany victims on the checkpoint and so they were held hostage to meet certain requirements.
At the Control Post
When we got there an army officer came to me and demanded for my identification papers. I was very angry about it because identification papers is not checked by the army. It is the work of the Police.
I refused to Give him my I.D card on grounds that he is not supposed to check I.d card. He got angry and that is what i really wanted.
I reminded him that he could hang because I was never going to give it to him. By the way he did not introduce himself who knows if he was an Amba or an arm robber? My intention was to make him angry the more but this time,
He Calmed down and introduced himself and told me they have been sent out because threats have been coming in from seperatist fighters.
Again I did show him my I. Card but i introduced myself as Maitré Echam.
I discovered he shivered a bit and asked me if i did not recognise him and that he did recognise me. I didn't even understand what he was talking about because I don't remember seeing him.
He recalled my memory that on the 16th, i was at the state councils office talking with him and he was the personal guard of the state council that Morning.
We now greeted each other and he said because of me all the Victims they had in their keeping will be released because of the fear of the Unknown. He told his coleaques to let go of their victims. They argued but he told them there was an authorité competent at their control post and that could land them into trouble. At that, they quickly let go of their victims and so was it.
Loum
My luggage
I got to loum at 10am and started waiting for a bus going up to Bamenda. I waited to around 12pm when one Moghamo Bus surfaced. We were standing at Loum 5 of us and the Bus took just four people and did not take me saying I had a bag and they did not want to carry the bag. So I was left behind. In anger I began cursing myself for wanting to use Public transport when i had a private car at my disposal.
I continued with my wait until 2pm when an Amour mezam Bus surfaced. I usually don't like using this agency but i had no choice because it was going straight to Bamenda.
AFTERNOON
30 minutes drive From Loum, the Moghamo Bus which had refused to pick me up had, had a fatal accident. It was a horible site to behold and i am sure people died especially those who we were at Loum with. They were informed back then that they were going to use the steps as chairs and it was the step side that was on the ground.
I felt so bad about it and explained my story to the men and women I was seating by and all they said was it was God who had rescued me from the accident. I then meditated and thanked God for having rescued me.
Whenever you want to Travel, Don't forget to Pray. Prayers rescued me that Morning
EVENING
I did not feel free in the Bus as every time the Bus tilted to one side, i felt like it was going to be an accident 😂😂 I finally reached bamenda that day at 8pm. Took my bath and went to bed.
Back in Tombel
