The Diary Game [29/ 03/2025] // Sunday Reflection

Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily routine with you all. This was a very stressful day with lots of chores to be done as a mother I had to start the day at 5:00 Am. While the kids were still sleeping, I had to first log in to Steemit to drop my diary of the previous day.

Then I noticed, my vegetable cooking oil was almost finished and would not be able to take me along the week. I decided to buy 5 litters at a nearby store. But when I got there I noticed there was a price increase and I tried to negotiate but the storekeeper refused. I decided to walk to a nearby local market and move from store to store, I noticed each store had different prices and that is the new strategy they use now to scam customers. If you are not aware of the prices in the market now, you might end up spending extravagantly on the benefits of storekeepers. I bought the oil, 5kg of refined flour, chocolate and mineral water.

I returned home when the kids were awake. I had to hurriedly prepare them tea with chocolate on the French bread. As usual, I had to feed them. I cleaned the house and washed all the dirty dishes and the dirty pots.

I had to prepare rice and tomato sauce with beef for our lunch. Then I also prepared eru to be kept in the freezer to be used within the week. I also put some of the tomato sauce in the freezer. I often prepare soups during the weekend and keep them in the freezer to ease my stress within the week.

When I was done cooking the soups, I heated water and bath the kids, dressed them up and fed them rice with tomato sauce with beef. I gave them some juice and they all enjoyed the meal. I put them to nap while I also took my bath. I cleaned all the things I used

In the evening hour, I could not follow up with the soccer games this weekend because of too much work as my husband travelled out of town. I had to soak dirty dresses with detergent to be washed the next day.

After soaking the dresses, I decided to drop my diary for the day and go to bed early. I had a series of house chores to be done tomorrow on ghost town day. Washing dirty dresses, washing school shoes, preparing some snacks and plaiting my daughter's hair. Until my next diary, it is goodnight from my end.
