The Diary Game [28/06/2025] // A Fulfilled Day.
Steem greetings, guys from the motherland, Cameroon and it is yet another session with my diary game. My day was well planned to buy food items for the house at a nearby local market. Also had to send money to my cousin in my former city to buy some food items because the prices where I am presently are too costly.

My day started on a good footing with lots of tasks programmed for the day. I had programmed to start by frying our local accra beans for breakfast. This requires a lot of patience and time to wash the beans, peel them and select all the bad beans before taking them to the grinding mill. I could not use my blender because I was preparing for a larger family as holiday makers are around.

Another major challenge was mixing the paste till I got a fine texture for the accra, and one of my amazing holiday makers helped me to properly mix it and it was ready to be fried. I thought she would continue with the frying while I washed dirty dresses. Unfortunately, it was her first experience and she could not do better than I did. I had to fry it and it came out so well that everyone appreciated it and said I should often prepare accra instead of puff puff with flour and yeast.

After carefully feeding my kids and had to rush to a nearby market to buy some food items for the house. I had some few things in mind to purchase and amongst them was a tray of eggs for my kids especially with fried potatoes.

Then I proceeded to the section of the market where they sell fresh fish to buy some and store it in the freezer for further use. I was shocked by the prices but I had no choice. I had to buy it to satisfy my daughter’s cravings of grilled fish.

I took a bike back home after purchasing all the required items because the sun was scorching. When I arrived home, I had to arrange all things and then prepare lunch at least I prepare breakfast before leaving the house.
I engaged into cleaning the house and changed my beddings, then washed everything. These days having a siesta is a must for me and my kids, therefore I had siesta and woke up by a call from my cousin to send someone at her business to collect the food items I send her money to buy.
I immediately communicated and send someone to carry the bag of food and I can’t wait to see the content of what the bag contained. I heated water to bath the kids and also make them dinner.
My day ended as I prepared our dresses for Sunday church service the next day. I had to iron the dresses and also clean out shoes before calling it a day as I went to bed. Until my next diary, I wish everyone a happy Sunday ahead.
Saludos Amiga,
